Everything in one platform

More than a training folder. A working development system.

The Training Portal turns the Tindal chef-development framework into a live, trackable process that managers and trainers can use every week.

Licensed pathways

Only Academy programmes purchased by the business are activated inside its portal.

Weekly evidence

Practical challenges, evidence requirements, learner reflection and assessment records.

Progress control

Future stages stay locked until current work is completed and signed off.

RAG visibility

Green, Amber and Red status gives managers an immediate view of learner progress.

Certificates

Generate professional-development certificates after successful final assessment.

Learner history

Archive leavers without losing their development record and restore them later if required.

One connected pathway

Develop from entry level to kitchen leadership.

Each stage runs for 24 practical weeks with evidence-led progression rather than simple attendance.

Training Portal FAQ

Does the portal subscription include the Academy programmes?

No. The Training Portal is the software platform. Tindal Academy programmes are separate one-off content licences, and only licensed programmes are loaded into the customer's portal.

How many learners can a site have?

Unlimited learners can be managed within each licensed portal site.

Can a hospitality group manage multiple sites?

Yes. Company Owner / Executive and Multi-site Manager roles can access company sites, while site-level roles stay restricted to their assigned site.

What happens if the portal subscription is cancelled?

The customer keeps the Academy programme licence they purchased, but loses access to the hosted Training Portal software.

Can the same Tindal account be used for Daily Operations?

Yes. Users can use the same Tindal email address and password across licensed Tindal portals. Access to each product still depends on the relevant company, site and active product licence.
