Training Portal FAQ
Does the portal subscription include all four Academy programmes?
No. The portal is the software platform. Academy content is licensed separately. Your portal only activates the programme or programmes your business has purchased. If you buy the Complete Academy, all four are activated.
If I already bought an Academy programme, do I need to buy it again for the portal?
No. Tindal can verify your existing Academy licence and activate that programme in your portal. The ongoing portal fee is for the hosted software service.
Do you charge per learner?
No. Portal pricing is per licensed site, with unlimited learners at that site using the Academy programmes licensed to the business.
Can I use it across several pubs or restaurants?
Yes. Multi-site pricing is available, with each site held separately so learner records and permissions can be managed properly.
What happens when a learner leaves?
The learner can be archived so their development history is retained. Genuine duplicate or test learner records can also be permanently deleted by authorised users.
Are the certificates regulated qualifications?
No. They are Tindal professional-development certificates recording successful progression through the programme; they are not Ofqual-regulated qualifications.
How do client accounts get set up?
After activation, the client receives a secure invitation code and step-by-step instructions to create and verify their account, join their company and begin managing learners.
