Is BOH and FOH included in the same £60 site licence?
Yes. The site licence covers the portal’s BOH and FOH operational workflows for that licensed site.
Can we add our own BOH and FOH tasks?
Yes. Site management can create custom tasks with a category, instructions, due time, frequency, responsible role and optional required photo evidence. Due tasks appear automatically in the correct department.
Does the Cleaning section control both departments?
Yes. Cleaning is a central whole-site system with separate BOH and FOH daily lists and master schedules. Changes feed into the relevant department automatically.
Can several people at the same site use the same records?
Yes. Authorised users assigned to the same site work from the same live site data. For example, a Sous Chef and Deputy Manager at the same venue can both see and complete that venue’s records.
Can we separate BOH and FOH history?
Yes. Inspection History can be filtered by All, BOH, FOH or Shared / Management, alongside date and record-type filters.
Does this replace an EHO inspection?
No. It is an internal operational record and evidence system. It helps a business maintain and demonstrate its own controls, but it does not replace an official inspection or guarantee a Food Hygiene Rating.
Can staff upload photo evidence?
Yes. Authorised operational users can attach private photo evidence to supported records. Evidence remains linked to the relevant company and site.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Operations Portal is offered with a 7-day free trial before the paid £60-per-site monthly subscription.
