Single-Business Licence

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Licence summary. This page explains the intended single-business licence in plain English. The order-specific licence supplied with a purchased product will take priority if there is any conflict.

Single-business use

A standard licence permits the named purchasing business to use the purchased Tindal product repeatedly for its own internal operations and employees.

What the business may do

  • Use the toolkit or programme internally for its own employees.
  • Add its own operational information, policies, targets and examples where the product is designed to allow this.
  • Print reasonable internal copies for authorised staff and learners.

What the business may not do

  • Resell, sublicense, publish or commercially redistribute the files.
  • Upload editable files to public file-sharing sites or unrestricted shared libraries.
  • Provide the product to another separately owned business, franchisee, client, supplier or third party unless the order expressly permits it.
  • Remove Tindal ownership/licence notices or claim the underlying product as its own intellectual property.

Group and multi-business use

Hospitality groups, franchise networks or organisations that need use across multiple legal businesses should request group or enterprise pricing.

Updates

Whether future versions or updates are included depends on the product or support plan purchased. Ongoing support subscriptions may include updated templates as described in the relevant order.
